Finally fall is here...I wait all summer long for the cooler evenings and windy days...Yes! I attending the deliously fun event in Minnesota last weekend, the Junk Bonanza. I have never seen so many talented, artistic vendors in one place. Every single booth was filled to the brim with delights. We brought back metal gasoline double-sided numbers, auction paddles, french flashcards and beginners reader flash cards and more ideas that are just screaming to get out. The largest piece we brought back is the yellow paint workbench with the home made vise. I just love it. I brought back an industrial handmade welded cart with 2 metal drawers, that's a keeper. We have many fresh sunflower seedheads, home grown by Wally, they are perfect for the cardinals and chickadees. Priced from Lg $6 to tiny $2. Look for the wool-felted handbags made by self-supporting women from Nepal, hand rolled candles, moss under heavy small glass cloches and faux Kentucky field pumpkins and green heirloom pumpkins...they look soooo real. Stop in and see us, visit our website at www.windmillantiquesco.com Have a wonderful weekend.
