Sewing Cup

Vintage pewter...the pin cushion lifts out of the tiny vintage baby cup, to find a few sewing notions, a thimble, miniature spool of thread a finger guard and a bobbin. I have four other pewter cups waiting to be re-purposed into more pin cushions of various sizes. Can't wait to get started on them.

Just found this again, this was my first attempt at making a crazy quilt and embellished it until I couldn't think of anything else to add. Fond memories for me.

Collage in the Making

This is the largest collage I have attempted so far...it's approximately 4ft x 2ft on plywood. I have layered and layered, I think I am close to start adding 3 dimensional items. Maybe an old key, text under glass, who knows what else will end up on this board of "EYE CANDY". I think that's what I will call it...LOL!
